“ Had a reservation so no wait, but extremely popular spot downtown. Vibes are immaculate the kitchen is just on the corner of the dining room with a cool speakeasy like bar connected. The staff are incredible it feels like your friends and family are hosting in a nice intimate setting. Cocktails and mocktails are really flavorful, and we ordered the calamari to start. Great flavor and texture on the calamari, just how we like it. DUCK WAS TO DIE FOR, the chefs favorite dish, it Truly shows the passion of this restaurant on the plate. From the perfectly cooked duck to the plating and flavors absolutely incredible. Pork belly was my guests dish and it was absolutely tender, flaky skin on the pork belly but melted completely in your mouth after a perfect little crunch. We had no words for the food we just kept eating and laughing at how quiet we were. 8.8/10 ”

The service was also very attentive and top-tier. They pick up finished plates quickly, are on top of drink orders, etc. Nice vibe and would definitely return! ”

The duck breast was another standout, cooked just right and full of flavor. I also really enjoyed the whipped feta — such a delicious touch! The 10 sangria special was a highlight — refreshing, flavorful, and a fantastic deal. I appreciated that they were happy to substitute the asparagus for carrots with no fuss. “ Did not realize Hamilton has such a great little food scene! Our favourite meal from a quick 24 hr visit was brunch at Undefined. The mushroom eggs Benedict was unreal. Fun fact: I don’t normally like mushrooms but I’m so glad I branched out and tried this. It was crazy good. I joked to my friend “I wish I had a spoon” to finish off the sauce.... She ended up asking our server for one and I did in fact eat all the left over sauce. The biscuit board was also amazing. I’ll be thinking about it for the foreseeable future. Martha our server was very kind and attentive. We can’t wait to come back! ”

Atmosphere is amazing, while it’s small inside you never felt crowded. Food was fresh and delicious, from appetizers to dessert. Worth checking out. ”
“ Little place, the drinks are very tasty and unique; A lot of work goes into making each drink! The food was absolutely delicious and honestly it felt like I was transported somewhere magical. I had steak, which was cooked medium rare, as requested, and sliced up, with polenta fries and asparagus, all wonderfully seasoned. The flavours and textures of everything was utter perfection. 10/10 would go there again. ”

The Bore dumplings were packed with flavour, and the tartare was equally impressive—both dishes left us wanting more but we were stuffed. Kennedy, our server, was exceptional! She’s attentive, knowledgeable, and spot-on with her recommendations. The cocktails were the highlight of our lunch, beautifully crafted and full of unique flavours. “ Went there for a late lunch. First time visitors, surprised and stunned by the wonderful presentation and originality of the menu. Restaurant is in the Templar Flats in Hamilton, Ontario, has the distinction of being the first occupied, modern wood-frame mid-rise building completed in Ontario. It was constructed under provisions added to the province’s Building Code (that permit wood-frame construction up to 6 storeys, an increase of two storeys over the previous iteration of the code. The 6-storey, mixed-use project offers 25 modern residential units above three street-level restaurants in the city’s downtown core. ”
